"I received your DVD today and viewed it during lunch. It is amazing how we both combined Filipino hand drill training and the other arts to which we've been exposed. Some of our drills even look alike. I've always said, good martial skills, movements and lines will be found in many systems (that's because--in the past at least--those skills that did not work quickly *died* out :-)
Thank you for sending that. It's always good to see similar drills and effective training methods taught by others."

“The DVD is great! Simple, solid drills that will help the novice student build sensitivity, flow and spontaneity. One of my biggest gripes with a lot of Combatives and martial arts system is the lack of “FLOW”. This DVD offers some great solutions for that particular problem. The DVD takes the viewer through a series of basic drills and then progressively builds upon the foundation by adding switches, various forms of gunting (Limb Destructions) and more. The training is presented in laymens terms and in a format easily adapted by the non-Filipino martial arts stylist. The instructor present the material in a light hearted manor which is pleasant to watch….
Compared to other DVDs on the market this one delivers the great bang for the buck. Incorporating the drills presented here will make any student more effective and efficient. If your tired of seeing the same Hubad drill over and over again then take a look here….
I would recommend this DVD to every student of the martial art regardless of style.

I am very please that Guro Jim created this DVD. This DVD is very instructional and I recommend this to any Martial Arts System. His drills will develop hand, eye and body coordination. It will develop a practitioners speed and reflex reaction. It also helps the practitioner get use to close quarter combat. I have recommended this DVD to all my students, part as a reference point and mostly to develop their skills even better. I have always stated to Guro Jim that he should develop his own method based on all the martial arts that he has learned. And, I can see by just working out with him and watching him moved that he has done that. I am truly proud of Guro Jim Hogue and look forward to seeing more of his instructional DVD's. Keep it up Jim.
